We opened 2 Guys 1 Grill because we believed a neighborhood spot could do both — serve honest, made-from-scratch food and pour cocktails worth staying for. Turns out, people noticed.
Our Story
We didn't start a restaurant.
We started a conversation.
Two guys. One grill. That's the whole pitch — and also the whole point. We grew up eating at each other's kitchen tables, swapping recipes, and arguing over the right way to season a cast-iron skillet. When we decided to open a place of our own, the brief was simple: food that tastes like we made it for friends, drinks that don't apologize, and a space where nobody checks their phone.
We found a corner on Alameda Blvd that had seen better days and decided that was exactly the kind of place we wanted to fix up. The grill was already there — old, reliable, ready. We built the rest around it.
The Bar
Cocktails with a point of view.
Our bar program is built the same way we build our food: start with good ingredients, don't overcomplicate it, and finish with something that makes you want a second round. House-made syrups, fresh-squeezed juices, and a whiskey list that actually tells a story.
